Angel Funds

What are Angel Funds? There is an anonymous donor who has been giving money to all the D97 schools since COVID. The goal is to provide funding to individual students in need - prioritizing first those students whose families qualify for free or reduced lunch, as well as students who face socioeconomic or cultural barriers to participating fully in their school communities. The amount received by the donor is based on the number of students on free and reduced lunch compared to the student population.

Holmes received $6,307.53 this year. As of May 1st, $2,197.14 remains available; any funds left will be available next school year.

If you need extra support at this time, please go here to fill out an Angel Fund request. The funding request is seen by Ms. O’Malley, Principal Phillips, AP Pryor and the social workers, and handled with confidentiality.
