Where did you live before you came to Holmes? I currently live in Lincoln Park
If you hadn't gone into education, what's another career you might have considered? Nursing
Can you tell us a bit about your family? I am the oldest of five kids. WE all grew up in Oak Park and attended Mann, Julian and OPRF. My parents both still live in Oak Park! My brother Jimmy is 23 and graduated from the University of Michigan. He now does consulting for Accenture. My brother Jeffrey is a junior at the University of Wisconsin, where he is studying Industrial Operations Engineering. My brother Joey is a freshman at the University of Michigan where he is studying business. My sister Jackie is a junior at OPRF where she plays tennis and soccer!
What is something that makes you happy? Spending time with close family and friends
What is something that upsets you? When people don't tell the truth
What is the trait you most frown upon in yourself? Being too much of a "planner"
What is the trait you most frown upon in others? Selfishness
What is your greatest extravagance? Online shopping...
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I would stop my bad habit of biting my nails
What do you consider a great personal achievement? Graduating from the University of Michigan
What is something that you treasure? Time with my family
Do you have any pet peeves? Loud chewing
What is your motto? Everything happens for a reason
What was your favorite subject in high school? Soccer
What was one extra-curricular activity you did that might (or might now) surprise people? I like to run and I just completed my first half marathon
What is one of your favorite journeys? This past summer my family and I took a trip to Italy. My favorite part was hiking in Cinque Terre.
If you won a trip to anywhere in the world, where would you choose to go? Santorini, Greece
